May 18th Phil Hendrie Show Flashback

The following was heard on this day during The Phil Hendrie Show.

In 1998, The Phil Hendrie Show presented the “John & Ken Show”, where they discussed the Seinfeld show.

In 1999, The Phil Hendrie Show did a remote broadcast from the Star Wars: Phantom Menace premiere at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Jeff Dowder was in line calling himself the “Star Wars Therapist” and talked to Phil. Clara Bingham (as Clara Barrett) talked to Phil about racial issues in Star Wars. After the remote broadcast Steve Bosell was on to talk about America’s Funniest Home Videos”

In 2000, R.C Collins was on to talk about the lawsuit against Hustler magazine. Hustler was being sued because they sent a teenage boy Hustler in place of his skateboarding magazine. Rudy Canoza was on because he though the Pope was sick because he’s gone sixty years without sex. Lloyd Bonafide was on to talk about the NRA and the rise in membership as a result of the Million Mom March.

In 2001, Doug Dannger was on to talk about the article that claimed a major league player was gay. R.C Collins was on for a “Sopranos Report”. Chris Norton from “SexyNorton.com” called the show to talk about Phil buying a blue suit and the fact woman will sleep with guys if they dress good. The show closed with the “Bud Dickman’s Weekly Top 10″.

In 2004, Ted Bell of Ted’s of Beverly Hills steakhouse was to talk about the arrest of his son for vandalizing his school with swastikas. Don Parsley called in because he claimed he was abused in Iraq by U.S Soldiers. This show also featured “Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell, General Johnson Jameson reported he was also abused by U.S Soldiers.

In 2005, Margaret Gray talked about her son Jason Jay Delmonico being in a movie. Margaret is proud because she picked a winner. Rudy Canoza was on to talk about the Minutemen patrolling the Mexican border. Paul “Tubby” Lane was on to talk about saving gas by drafting like they do in Nascar.

In 2006, Ted Bell was on to promote “Bellhouse Summer Garden Celebration”. Steve Bosell was on to talk about suing his wife because she broke a verbal contract when she promised to lose the weight after having children. Phil announced his retirement and Bud Dickman was studying an African Studies book in case he has to go work for Whoopi.

May 17th The Phil Hendrie Show Flashback (repost)

The following was heard on this day during The Phil Hendrie Show.

In 1999, Margaret Gray was on the show to talk about the “Van Gogh” Exhibition. R.C Collins was on live from Mann’s Chinese Theater the day before the opening of Star Wars : Phantom Menace.

In 2000, Brad Rifkin was on to talk about what caused Columbine and the need to strip down youth culture by limiting choices. Bobbie Dooley and Harvey Wireman were on because a Jewish family was suing Bobbie because her kids dragged a boy through poison oak. Her kids were reenacting the Christian Crusades. Pastor William Rennick was on to give his six reasons why he believes Jesus was black.

In 2001, Margaret Gray was on to talk about her new book “California, Here I Come”. Phil Hendrie made the announcement with David G Hall that he is from the future. Jay Santos of the Citizen’s Auxiliary Police was on to talk about policing the new driving with a cell phone ban.

In 2002, Jay Santos of the Citizen’s Auxiliary Police was to talk about testing the emergency response system by staging bomb threats. Jeff Dowder was on to talk about the TV show “Friends”.

In 2004, Margaret Gray was on to talk about the need for American athletes to tone it down for their own safety at the Olympics. Bud Dickman was on to practice his monologue for the Jay Leno Show.

In 2005, The show opened with Bud Dickman revealing he heard a rumor that Phil sexually assaulted Annette Funicello. David G Hall removed Phil from the studio and introduced Lloyd Bonafide, Mavis Leonard, and Jay Santos as substitute hosts. Steve Bosell was on to talk about suing Dr. Phil for encouraging openness in marriage. Bob Green of Frazier Foods was on to talk about a new charity promotion where he dances at bachelorette parties.

In 2006, Jay Santos of the Citizen’s Auxiliary Police was to talk about searching kids for drugs, Jay got himself in trouble after giving a girl a full body cavity search. R.C Collins was on to talk about beating up a Viet Nam vet with other cadets. Jim Kettering was on to talk about the Spanish influence in America.
